What is Da Vinci California®?
Da Vinci California® is a California heritage menswear brand founded in 1952 and best known for distinctive men’s camp shirts, specialty embroidery, color blocking, bold prints and relaxed West Coast style.
More than seventy years later, the brand continues to draw from its original design language while creating new pieces for today.
Are Da Vinci shirts really vintage designs?
Many Da Vinci California® shirts are based on our authentic vintage designs, archive artwork and original era details. Some styles have been made continuously since the 1950s, while others have been recreated or reinterpreted using details from the Da Vinci archive.
We do not have to invent vintage. It is where we started.
What is a camp shirt?
A camp shirt is a relaxed short-sleeved shirt traditionally designed with an open collar, easy fit and straight hem. Da Vinci California® has been making its own distinctive version of the style since the 1950s, often adding color blocking, embroidery, piping, specialty trims and bold prints.
What makes a Da Vinci shirt different?
It is usually in the details.
Da Vinci shirts are known for distinctive paneling, embroidery, specialty stitching, unusual color combinations, pyjama collars, contrast piping and carefully chosen trims.
The goal has never been to make the loudest shirt in the room. Just one that people remember.
SIZING & FIT
How do Da Vinci California® shirts fit?
Most Da Vinci camp shirts fit true to size with our relaxed California fit.
Individual styles can vary slightly depending on fabric and construction, so we recommend checking the product page and sizing information before ordering.
What size does your model wear?
Micah, the model featured throughout the site, is 6' tall, approximately 183 cm, and generally wears a size Medium.
What size should I order if I am between sizes?
If you prefer a more relaxed fit, we generally recommend sizing up. If you prefer a cleaner, closer fit, choose the size closest to your body measurements.

Do all shirts use the same fabric?
No. Fabric varies by style.
Our collections include fabrics such as viscose linen blends, lightweight viscose moss crepe, rayon blends and other materials selected to suit the particular design.

How should I care for my Da Vinci shirt?
Always follow the care instructions on the garment label. You can also find care information on the individual product page.
SHIPPING
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. Da Vinci California® ships worldwide.
Available shipping methods, delivery estimates and shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination.
Where will my order ship from?
Orders may ship from our California or Sweden warehouse depending on the product and your location.
We normally aim to process and ship orders within 1 to 2 business days.
Do you ship from Europe?
Yes. Selected Da Vinci California® styles are stocked in Europe for faster delivery to customers in the European Union and United Kingdom.
Styles available from Europe are clearly identified on their product pages.
Can my order arrive in more than one shipment?
Occasionally.
If your order contains products located in different warehouses, we will contact you before splitting the shipment. Once approved, each package will receive its own tracking information.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information.
Will I have to pay duties or taxes on an international order?
International orders may be subject to duties, taxes or customs charges depending on the destination.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What is your return policy?
Eligible merchandise may be returned when the return is requested within 30 days of delivery.
Items should be unworn except for trying them on, unwashed, unaltered and returned in resalable condition with original tags and packaging whenever possible.

Yes. Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery and are subject to product availability.

Are sale items returnable?
Items identified as Sale are not eligible for voluntary return, exchange or refund except where required by law or when an item is damaged, defective or incorrect.

Customers are generally responsible for return shipping on ordinary change-of-mind returns unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law.
